All users undergo Wizz's age verification process. During onboarding, user age is verified through:
Yoti’s Age Estimation: before entering their Date of Birth, all users must undergo a face-scan taken within the app that immediately launches an algorithm for age estimation through our partner Yoti.
Date of Birth comparison: Wizz compares a user’s birthdate to their estimated age to ensure safety. Any users who do not meet Wizz’s age requirements are restricted and banned.
ID verification: if an age difference is detected between a user's date of birth and estimated age, we may require ID verification of their age. Users are not permitted into the app without completing the required verification.
Identity Verification on Wizz
Beyond age verification, Wizz also employs additional identity verification methods:
Identity consistency checks: We monitor for any discrepancies in age information at signup, within user profiles, or during interactions on the Wizz app. Any users suspected of identity misrepresentation are restricted and banned.
100% verified profiles: All images on the platform are being verified with AWS Machine Learning. This requires that every user's first profile photo must match the face of their age verification photo. This ensures users are authentic and creates a safe environment.

We also compare this age to a user's inputted age for age verification, ensuring that all users are placed into the correct age bucket.
